Overview
Kalairo is a local-first iPhone application. It does not require an account and does not operate a cloud database containing your birth profile, relationship profiles, saved dates, or personal check-ins.
Information you enter
You may enter a name, birth date, birth time, birthplace, relationship profile information, planning preferences, saved dates, and optional check-ins. These records are stored locally on your device using Apple platform storage. They may be included in your own device backup according to your Apple settings.
Location and time-zone resolution
When you search for a birthplace, Kalairo uses Apple's system geocoding service to resolve the place into coordinates and a time-zone identifier. Kalairo does not continuously track your location and does not use location data for advertising.
Purchases and subscriptions
If you purchase Premium, Apple processes the payment. Kalairo uses RevenueCat to retrieve product offerings and confirm subscription entitlement. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app-user identifier, purchase status, product information, and limited paywall interaction data needed to operate and understand the purchase flow. Kalairo does not receive your full payment-card details.
Calendar, alerts, widgets, and sharing
Calendar access is requested only after you choose to add a timing window. The app creates or updates the event you approve. Notifications are scheduled locally after your permission. The home-screen widget reads your locally stored profile through an Apple App Group. Sharing occurs only when you open the system share sheet.
Apple Intelligence
On supported devices, you may request an expanded relationship interpretation using Apple's on-device Foundation Models. The feature receives a bounded summary of the astrological evidence already calculated by Kalairo. The deterministic interpretation remains available when the model is unavailable or its output does not pass Kalairo's validation.
Advertising, tracking, and sale
Kalairo does not contain advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not use your birth or relationship profile to build an advertising profile. Kalairo does not permit cross-app tracking.
Retention and deletion
Your local records remain on your device until you remove them in the app, clear the app's data, or delete the app. Calendar events you created may remain in Apple Calendar until you remove them there or through Kalairo. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their own legal obligations and policies.
Children
Kalairo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated as Kalairo evolves. The effective date above will change when a revised policy is published.
